PERSPEKTIF MAHASISWA IPS TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN VIRTUAL PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana implementasi dan perspektif mahasiswa pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Surabaya terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran virtual yang dilaksanakan selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Informan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dan teknik interpretasi dilakukan dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara secara online dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran virtual yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa IPS menggunakan aplikasi google classroom, zoom meeting, google meet hingga whatsapp group. Walaupun aplikasi zoom meeting lebih menghabiskan banyak kuota namun lebih disukai mahasiswa daripada whatsapp group. Namun sebaik apapun aplikasi yang digunakan dianggap belum mampu menggantikan pembelajaran konvensional tatap muka. Kebiasaan pembelajaran virtual tersebut dapat diaplikasikan ketika sudah terjun menjadi seorang pendidik. Dengan kombinasi pembelajaran tatap muka dan online maka kedepannya mahasiswa calon guru IPS saat ini akan terbiasa dengan sistem blanded learning.
