DETERMINANT OF PRODUCTION FUNCTION ON MAIZE FARM IN PANYIPATAN DISTRICT TANAH LAUT REGENCY

Abstract


The purposes of this research are to analyse costs, revenue dan profit, and to analyse factors that determine production function of maize farm in Panyipatan District. The resul ts showed that production cost is Rp 10,126,110.07, revenue is Rp 13,230,000.00 and profit is Rp 3,103,889.94 per farm size. Production costs, revenue and profit per hectare are Rp 4,099,639.71, Rp 5,356,275.30, and Rp 1,256,635.59 respectively. Resul ts of regression analysis simultaneously showed that calculated F = 314.832 higher than F -table0.01 (6;53) = 3.12 with regression coefficient (R2) is 0.973. Results of regression analysis partially showed that production factors of seeds and labor significantly influence maize yield at 5% significant level.
