COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT MODEL ON URBAN POVERTY PREVENTION PROGRAM (P2KP) IN BANJARMASIN

Abstract


The purposes of this research was to compose community empowerment model on urban poverty prevention program (P2KP) in Banjarmasin. The method used in this research was literature study. The variables investigated consisted of 2 latent variables and 9 manifest variables. The data collected were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling. To know the fitness of model had been composed with the data, the test by using Goodness of Fit Index was done. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion can be drawn are as follows: (1) the community empowerment model on P2KP in Banjarmasin have been build with 1 structural model and 2 measurement models; (2) The empowerment level was direct effected by power within as big as .185, power to within as big as .097, power over within as big as .280, and power with within as big as .999; (3) The empowerment base was direct effected by based community development as big as -.045, continuity as big as -.036, participation as big as . -.011, social capital as big as . .136, and gender unbalancedabolition as big as .999.
