MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKN MATERI GLOBALISASI MELALUI KOMBINASI MODEL THINK PAIR SHARE DAN MAKE A MATCH PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN PEKAPURAN RAYA 1 BANJARMASIN

Abstract

Abstract:  The Classroom action research is conducted because the learning achievement of civic education in the topic about globalization at fourth grade of Pekapuran Raya 1 elementary school Banjarmasin is low. This problem is caused by the student do not understand about the topic, the students to be the passive person, they just come to sit and listen the teacher’s explanation, it makes their achievement is low. For that, to solve this problem the writer uses the combination model of Think Pair and Share and Make a Match. This research uses the qualitative approach to the type of classroom action research with the design in two cycles. The result shows s that the student’s activity always increases every meeting. The learning achievement in every meeting always increases phasely in evaluation 1^st cycle and 2^nd cycle.

Abstrak ; Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan karena hasil belajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada materi globalisasi di kelas IV SDN Pekapuran Raya 1 Banjarmasin dinyatakan rendah. Permasalahan ini disebabkan karena siswa belum memahami materi yang diajarkan, siswa cenderung pasif, siswa hanya datang, duduk dan mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru, sehingga dapat mengakibatkan hasil belajar rendah. Untuk itu maka digunakan kombinasi model Think Pair Share dan Make A Match untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan rancangan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aktivitas guru selalu mengalami peningkatan. Aktivitas siswa selalu terjadi peningkatan setiap pertemuan. Hasil belajar pada setiap pertemuan meningkat secara bertahap pada evaluasi siklus I maupun siklus II.
