MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MATERI KOPERASI MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) KOMBINASI DENGAN THINK PAIR AND SHARE (TPS) DAN ROLE PLAYING PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN SUNGAI LUMBAH 1 KABUPATEN BARITO KUALA

Abstract

Abstract:  The Classroom action research is conducted because the implementation of social study in Sungai Lumbah 1 Elementary School is not maximal yet and the learning achievement is low. This problem happened because the learning activity is not attractive and the student is not enthusiastic in learning activity, the student to be the passive person and the student critical skill is not carried out maximally and then it will make the student learning achievement will be low. For solve this problem the writer uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) combination with Think Pair and Share and Role Playing. This research uses the qualitative approach and the style of classroom action research with the design in two cycles and two meetings in a cycle. The instruments are used in this research are the student’s activity observation sheet and the test to know the learning achievement in the end of the meeting. Findings of the research show that the student’s activity always increase in every meeting and the learning achievement in every meeting always increases gradually in the phases evaluation at 1^st cycle and 2^nd cycle.

penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan karena pelaksanaan pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di SDN Sungai Lumbah 1 belum maksimal dan hasil belajar rendah. Masalah ini terjadi karena kegiatan pembelajaran belum terlalu menarik dan siswa kurang antusias dalam kegiatan belajar, siswa menjadi pribadi yang pasif dan potensi berpikir kritis tidak diasah secara maksimal, dan akan membuat hasil belajar siswa  rendah. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) kombinasi dengan Think Pair and Share dan Role Playing.  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang didesain dalam dua siklus, dengan dua pertemuan di setiap siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes tertulis untuk mengetahui hasil belajar di akhir pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa selalu meningkat dalam setiap pertemuan dan hasil pembelajaran di setiap pertemuan selalu meningkat bertahap dalam evaluasi siklus 1 dan siklus 2.
