Antihiperglikemik Infus Bunga Labu Kuning (Cucurbita moschata Duch) Terhadap Kadar Glukosa Darah Mencit Terpapar Streptozotocin

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

Indonesia merupakan negara kaya dengan kekayaan alam yang dapat dimanfatkan sebagai kesehatan, pangan, papan dan energi. Tanaman labu kuning merupakan bagian dari sumber kekayaan alam. Bunga labu kuning memiliki senyawa aktif seperti flavonoid, beta-karoten, vitamin C, dan vitamin E. Senyawa tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pengobatan diabetes mellitus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  antihiperglikemik infus bunga labu kuning terhadap kadar glukosa darah mencit terpapar streptozotocin. 24 ekor mencit digunakan dalam penelitian dibagi 2 kelompok antara lain mencit non diabet dan mencit diabet hasil induksi streptozotocin. Analisa data menggunakan Uji t. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perubahan glukosa darah acak dengan kelompok perlakuan dilakukan uji Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Post Hoc Duncan. Hasil penelitian bahwa induksi streptozotocin dan pemberian lard berpengaruh terhadap perubahan glukosa darah acak. Adapun nilai perubahan glukosa darah acak sebelum dan sesudah induksi streptozotocin dan lard sebanyak 120 mg/dl dan 226 mg/dl. Pemberian infus bunga labu kuning berpengaruh terhadap penurunan glukosa dara acak mencit diabet akibat induksi streptozotocin. konsentrasi 10% infus bunga labu kuning lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi 5% dan 20%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini bahwa induksi streptozotocin dan pemberian lard berpengaruh terhadap perubahan glukosa darah acak. Sedangkan pemberian infus bunga labu kuning berpengaruh terhadap penurunan glukosa dara acak mencit diabet akibat induksi streptozotocin dan pemberian lard.

ABSTRACT

 

Indonesia is a country rich with natural resource that can be utilized as health, food, shelter and energy. Pumpkin plants are part of natural resource. Pumpkin flower have active compounds such as flavonoids, beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E. These compounds can be used as a treatment of diabetes mellitus. This study aims to determine antihyperglycemic pumpkin infusion on blood glucose levels in mice induction of streptozotocin. 24 mice were used in the study divided into 2 groups, among others, non diabetic mice and diabetic mice induced streptozotocin induction. Data were analyzed using T-test. Meanwhile, to know the difference of random blood glucose change with treatment group was done by Anova test and continued by Post Hoc Duncan test. The results of the research that the induction of streptozotocin and lard Award effect on random blood glucose change. The value of the random blood glucose changes before and after induction of streptozotocin and lard as much as 120 mg / dl and 226 mg / dl. Giving pumpkin flower infuse effect on random blood glucose lowering diabetic mice induced by streptozotocin. The concentration of 10% infusion of pumpkin flower is more effective than the concentration of 5% and 20%. Based on this research that the induction of streptozotocin and lard Award effect on random blood glucose change. While the provision of pumpkin flowers infuse effect on random blood glucose lowering induced by streptozotocin-diabetic mice and administration of lard.
