Aplikasi Metode Diagnosis And Recommendation Integrated System Dalam Rangka Pemupukan Tanaman Cabai Besar (Capsicum Annuum L.) di Kelurahan Landasan Ulin Kota Banjarbaru

Abstract


Chili is one of the horticultural plants used as spices and medicinal ingredients, the need for chili will continue to increase every year in line with the increasing number and development of industries that require chili raw materials. The average national chili productivity has only reached 8.06 t ha-1 The average national chili productivity has only reached 8.06 t ha-1, while the potential for chili production can reach 10.9 t ha-1, it is assumed that chili production can still be increased up to 20.12% of its production potential. Efforts to increase the yield of red chili can be done by using seeds of new superior varieties (VUB) and balanced fertilization. One of the methods related to the calculation of a balanced fertilization dose is based on the diagnosis method Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS). This study aims to determine the effect of balanced doses of N, P, and K fertilizers with different nutrient targets on growth and production of Big Chili (Capsicum annuum L.) like plant height, number of branches (units), number of leaves (strands), flowering time (flowers), wet weight and dry weight of chili plants. This research was carried out at the Greenhouse of the Balangan Agricultural Service from July to September 2020. The research method used 1 factor RAL with 6 treatments, namely; C0(control), C1 (0,00 g Urea + 1,58 g TSP + 0,50 g KCl), C2 (3,02 g Urea + 1,57 g TSP + 2,89 g KCl), C3 (8,60 g Urea + 1,57 g TSP +5,28 g KCl), C4 (14,19 g Urea + 1,57 g TSP + 7,68 g KCl), C5 (19,79 g Urea + 1,57 g TSP + 10,08 g KCl)and repeated 4 times to obtain 24 experimental units. The results showed that the calculation of fertilizer doses using the Dris method had inaccurate accuracy based on the response of the growth of large red chili plants planted.Keywords:
