PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KACANG TANAH AKIBAT PERLAKUAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM DAN KALIUM

Abstract


The research aims to test and analyze the response of growth and yield of peanuts due to the treatment of chicken manure and potassium in sandy soil. The study employed a randomized block design consisting of two factors; the first factor is three levels of chicken manure treatments at doses of 10, 20, and 30 t ha-1, while the second treatment factor consists of potassium treatments at doses of 50, 75, and 100 kg ha-1. From these two factors, a total of 9 combinations were obtained, with each factor replicated 3 times, resulting in 27 experimental units. The results of the research indicate that the application of chicken manure and potassium fertilizer significantly affects all growth and development variables of the plants, including plant height, number of branches, flowering age, pod weight, number of filled pods, weight of 100 seeds, potential yield per hectare, number of root nodules per plant, and the harvest index. The most efficient treatment dose of chicken manure is indicated by the dose of 30 t ha-1, while the potassium treatment with a dosage of 100 kg per hectare.
