Physical activity and exercise have been shown to promote healthy ageing in ageing. However, unfortunately, there are still many older people who are not aware of and apply an active lifestyle in their daily life. This community service aims to provide an understanding to the elderly about activities and physical exercises that can be done independently to support their health. Community service activities were carried out on October 9, 2021, by a group of lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine, Halu Oleo University, with service partners, namely a group of older people at the Al Azis Kendari Foundation. The service uses community education methods through counselling and simulations to increase the understanding and participation of the elderly group. The evaluation results of community service show that there is an understanding of the elderly regarding activities and physical exercises that can be carried out daily, which are aimed at the ability of the elderly to practice a variety of physical exercise movements independently. This community service activity is expected to provide ongoing benefits for the practice of physical activities/training by the elderly with assistance from the management of the Al Aziz Foundation.
