Pengembangan Desa Berbasis Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan pada Desa Sindangmukti, Kecamatan Kutawaluya, Kabupaten Karawang
Abstract
Desa Sindangmukti, Kecamatan Kutawaluya, Kabupaten Karawang, Provinsi Jawa Barat adalah desa yang letak geografisnya berdataran rendah dimana sebagian besar merupakan hamparan sawah sehingga pengembangan sektor pertanian dan perkebunan menjadi prioritas utama. Permasalahan utama pada Desa Sindangmukti berdasarkan diskusi dengan perangkat desa setempat adalah kurangnya jumlah UMKM dan metode pembelajaran yang belum variatif di sekolah. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) telah dilakukan di Desa Sindangmukti dari bulan Juni 2022 hingga bulan November 2022 dengan pendekatan tujuan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals) melalui pembentukan UMKM yang memproduksi keripik pare dengan sasaran warga binaan program keluarga harapan sejumlah 7 orang dan meningkatkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi 60 siswa dan siswi di SDN Sindangmukti 1. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan PkM adalah dengan berkoordinasi dengan perangkat desa Sindangmukti untuk menemukan permasalahan yang ada di Desa Sindangmukti, melakukan pelatihan kepada masyarakat, dan mengajar siswa siswi Sekolah Dasar (SD) dengan metode yang menyenangkan. Hasil kegiatan PkM adalah terbentuknya UMKM yang membuat keripik Pariya dan membuat kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi anak-anak. UMKM yang terbentuk diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian yang ada di masyarakat, mengurangi terjadinya kekurangan bahan pangan, kehidupan yang sehat dan sejahtera, membuka lapangan kerja, serta mengurangi kesenjangan yang ada pada masyarakat. Hasil yang diharapkan dari metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan pada anak-anak adalah pendidikan yang berkualitas, kesetaraan gender, serta kerja sama untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Kesimpulannya adalah permasalahan di Desa Sindangmukti berupa kurangnya jumlah UMKM dan metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif telah berhasil diselesaikan dengan membentuk UMKM keripik Pariya dan membuat pembelajaran dengan metode yang variatif.
Sindangmukti Village, Kutatawaluya District, Karawang Regency, West Java Province, is a village with a low-lying location where most of it is rice fields, so developing the agricultural and plantation sectors is a top priority. The main problem in Sindangmukti Village, based on discussions with local village officials, is the lack of many MSMEs and learning methods that are not yet varied in schools. Community service activities (PkM) have been carried out in Sindangmukti Village from June 2022 to November 2022 with the approach of sustainable development goals (Sustainable Development Goals) through the establishment of MSMEs that produce bitter melon chips with the target of 7 people assisted by the Family Hope program and increasing fun learning activities for 60 students at Sindangmukti 1 Elementary School. The method used to achieve PkM objectives is coordinating with Sindangmukti village officials to find problems in Sindangmukti Village, conduct community training, and teach elementary school students using a pleasant method. The results of PkM activities are the formation of MSMEs that make Pariya chips and learning activities fun for children. MSMEs that are formed are expected to improve the community's economy, reduce food shortages, live a healthy and prosperous life, create jobs, and reduce the gap in society. The expected results of fun learning methods for children are quality education, gender equality, and cooperation to achieve common goals. The conclusion is that the problems in Sindangmukti Village in the form of a lack of SMEs and learning methods that are less varied have been successfully resolved by forming Pariya chips SMEs and making learning using a variety of methods.
