PERBEDAAN TEKANAN DARAH REMAJA DENGAN RIWAYAT ORANGTUA HIPERTENSI DAN TIDAK SETELAH DILAKUKAN COLD PRESSOR TEST

Abstract

     Abstract: The Cold Pressor Test is a test by dipping your hands in ice cube water, created cold stimuli can trigger a physical response that can increase blood pressure. This test can be used as an early detection of hypertension, especially to occur in adolescents. One of the factors that cause hypertension is the genetic history of hypertension from parents. This study aims to find out the difference in blood pressure between adolescents and their parents history of hypertension and not after a cold pressor test. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pre and post research design. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling technique, the total sample in this study was 60 people. The results of the data analysis used the Mann whitney nonparametric test and there was a significant difference in the data (p<0.05). This study concluded that there was a significant difference in blood pressure between adolescents and their parents history of hypertension after a cold pressor test.

Abstrak: Cold pressor test yaitu sebuah uji dengan mencelupkan tangan ke dalam air es batu, menimbulkan rangsangan dingin sehingga memicu respons fisik yang dapat meningkatkan tekanan darah. Tes ini dapat digunakan sebagai deteksi dini terjadinya hipertensi, terutama pada usia remaja. Salah satu faktor terjadinya hipertensi yaitu riwayat genetik hipertensi dari orangtua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tekanan darah remaja dengan riwayat orangtua hipertensi dan tidak setelah dilakukan cold pressor test. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian pre dan post. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, total sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 60 orang. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji nonparametrik Mann whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p<0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna tekanan darah remaja dengan riwayat orangtua hipertensi setelah dilakukan cold pressor test.
