Hubungan Pekerjaan, Paritas, dan Keterampilan Perawatan Payudara dengan Perilaku Pemberian ASI Eksklusif

Abstract

Abstract: Exclusive breastfeeding to infants is one of WHO’s target that has not been achieved. Work, parity and skills are predisposing factors that influence human healthy behavior. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation of employment, parity and breast care skills with exclusive breastfeeding behaviour in the work area of the Pekapuran Raya Banjarmasin Health Center. This research used observational analytic methods with cross sectional approach. The sample size of 50 respondents selected by cluster proportional random sampling technique. The research’s instrument used was a questionnaire with a chi-square statistical test. Statistical test results for employment is p value = 0.005, parity with p value = 0.005, and breast care skills with p value = 0.012, so that it can be concluded that there is a correlation of employment, parity and breast care skills with exclusive breastfeeding behaviour in work area of Pekapuran Raya Banjarmasin Health Center.

Abstrak: Pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi merupakan salah satu target dari WHO yang masih belum tercapai. Pekerjaan, paritas dan keterampilan merupakan faktor predisposisi yang mempengaruhi perilaku kesehatan manusia. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pekerjaan, paritas dan keterampilan perawatan payudara dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pekapuran Raya Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Besar sampel 50 responden dengan teknik cluster proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil uji statistik untuk pekerjaan nilai p=0,005, paritas nilai p=0,005, dan keterampilan perawatan payudara p=0,012, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pekerjaan, paritas dan keterampilan perawatan payudara dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pekapuran Raya Banjarmasin.
