Hubungan antara Kepercayaan Diri dengan Intensi Penggunaan Make Up pada Siswi SMK Negeri 2 Banjarbaru
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan intensi menggunakan make up pada siswi SMK Negeri 2 Banjarbaru. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik proportional stratified sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel secara proporsional terhadap unit dimana sampling unitnya berada dalam satu kelompok yang memiliki susunan bertingkat yang berjumlah 137 orang. Metode analisis data menggunakan korelasi product-moment dari Karl Pearson dan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala intensi menggunakan make up dan skala kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan intensi menggunakan make up pada siswi SMK Negeri 2 Banjarbaru memiliki korelasi - 0,170 dan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,047. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang negatif antara kepercayaan diri dan intensi menggunakan make up, artinya semakin rendah tingkat kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki subjek maka semakin tinggi pula intensi menggunakan make up yang dimilikinya. Begitupun sebaliknya, semakin tinggi tingkat kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki maka akan semakin rendah juga intensi menggunakan make up.
