Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the comparison of the duration of checking using a standard charger with a plug and play smart dual charger; temperature when charging minimum 30 percent to maximum power; and comparison of SOC and SOH value levels. The data collection process includes: Observing the length of the checking duration from 30 percent to 100 percent; Taking battery temperature every 3 hours of checking time; and collecting data on SOC and SOH values before and after the test takes place. Result is that using a smart dual charger makes battery charging more efficient than a standard charger. This test shows that the battery can be optimized with proper charging, but there are some that still need to be replaced because the initial condition is too bad or does not improve enough after being charged. Battery condition can be greatly improved with proper charging, as seen with Battery 3 which initially had very low SOH but became fine after charging. The factor that influences the SOC value is the internal resistance value, because internal resistance shows the battery's ability to carry current.
