Analisis hasil tes waktu reaksi rangsangan suara dan warna atlet Tarung Drajat persiapan PON

Abstract


Cabang olahraga beladiri memerlukan gerak yang cepat untuk mengantisipasi setiap aksi yang dilakukan oleh lawan. Proses dari atlet menerima rangsangan berupa gerak lawan, kemudian atlet melihat dan mengolah informasi dan akhirnya memutuskan untuk bergerak, waktu yang diperlukan dari adanya stimulus sampai adanya respon ini semakin cepat dan tepat, semakin baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui waktu reaksi lengan dan tungkai atlet beladiri tarung drajat. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey dengan tahapan tes pengukuran. Sampel adalah semua atlet tarung drajat yang mengikuti seleksi untuk persiapan PON Papua. Instumen dalam penelitian ini adalah whole body reaction, rangsangan suara dan cahaya dengan mengukur waktu reaksi dengan atlet diminta untuk bereaksi menekan tombol (tangan) dan bergerak menginjak sesuai dengan warna yang muncul. Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif dan analisis uji Beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan waktu reaksi antara tangan dan kaki baik rangsangan cahaya ataupun suara. Reaksi tangan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kaki. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah rangsangan visual (warna) cenderung lebih baik luaran waktu reaksi baik tangan ataupun kaki.
