Pengaruh program pembelajaran renang terstruktur terhadap perkembangan motorik dan kepercayaan diri siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract


Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh program pembelajaran renang terstruktur terhadap perkembangan motorik dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Metode one group pretest-posttest, penelitian melibatkan 37 siswa kelas 4 dan 5 (17 laki-laki, 20 perempuan) berusia 10-11 tahun yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Program pembelajaran renang terstruktur dilaksanakan selama 4 minggu dengan 8 kali pertemuan, masing-masing berdurasi 90 menit. Perkembangan motorik diukur menggunakan instrumen penilaian gerak dasar berenang yang mencakup 5 indikator: memasukkan kepala ke dalam air, meluncur ke depan, kaki menendang, memutar lengan, dan koordinasi. Kepercayaan diri dinilai menggunakan Swimming Self-Confidence Questionnaire (SSCQ) yang mengukur lima dimensi: kompetensi fisik, penguasaan teknik, keberanian, motivasi, dan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada keterampilan motorik, terjadi peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 5,71 poin (pretest Mean = 8,59, SD=1,28; posttest Mean = 14,30, SD=2,25) dengan korelasi kuat (r = 0,894) antara pretest dan posttest. Peningkatan terbesar terlihat pada kemampuan menendang 1,71 dan gerakan lengan 1,46. Dalam aspek kepercayaan diri, terjadi peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 28,75 poin, dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada dimensi motivasi 6,25 dan sosial 6,15. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa program pembelajaran renang terstruktur efektif dalam meningkatkan perkembangan motorik dan kepercayaan diri siswa sekolah dasar. Temuan ini menyatakan manfaat program renang terstruktur sebagai strategi pengembangan fisik dan psikologis, menjadi dasar pengembangan program pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dasar.
