ANALYSIS OF CHARACTERISTICS AND PARKING NEEDS OF SYIFA MEDIKA GENERAL HOSPITAL BANJARBARU
Abstract
Syifa Medika General Hospital (RSU) is one of the largest private hospitals in Banjarbaru City. This hospital is located on Jl. R.O Ulin No. 93, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan Province. Given the addition of a new building at the Syifa Medika General Hospital in Banjarbaru, the hospital management needs to provide adequate and well-organized parking areas. This is done to provide comfort to the patients and the medical staff at the hospital. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an analysis to determine the need for parking space based on the current conditions at the Syifa Medika General Hospital in Banjarbaru.
The method used in this study was to collect data in the field for 2 days by recording police numbers, and entry and exit hours for both 2-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles so that the quantity of vehicles entering and leaving was obtained.
From the aftereffects of this review, it was observed that the most elevated volume was 459 2-wheeled vehicles and 184 4-wheeled vehicles, the highest accumulation was 139 wheeled vehicles and 52 4-wheeled vehicles and the highest normal stopping length was 6.48 hours/vehicle for 2-wheeled vehicles and 6.345 hours/vehicle for 4-wheeled vehicles. The highest parking index value is 52.06% for 2-wheeled vehicles and 98.11% for 4-wheeled vehicles. The number of parking lots currently available for 2-wheeled vehicles is 267 parking lots and 53 parking lots for 4-wheeled vehicles so this limit is adequate to oblige stopping clients during top hours.
