Author Guidelines

General Requirement

  • Article submitting in Epsilon Journal must not publish and present in other journals, publishings, or conferences before.
  • Author have full responsibility and right on originality and data of his/her article.
  • Uploaded article should be in MS. WORD format an does not exceed 2MB and write either Indonesia or English.
  • The article have to meet with writing rules of Epsilon Journal (journal template can be downloaded here)
  •  Do not forget to include your email through the article

Article Writing Rules

  1. Title Section
    Title of the article is written clearly and briefly and avoid writing mathematics equation as much as possible. Full name of author(s) put below article's title. Then write author(s)'s affiliation below it. After that, a corespondencing email writes below the affiliation.
  2. Abstract
    Abstract write in both Bahasa and English and avoid mathematics equation as in title. It is written not exceed 250 words together with 3 - 5 keywords. 
  3. Introduction
    Introductions need to start with a broad motivating statement. There is usually some review of existing knowledge and embed author research in the context of other people’s work or  demonstrate thing about other important players in the area in which author(s) are publishing
  4. Preliminaries
    A review of the relevant literature, theory, and development of the hypothesis (if any) are included in this section. 
  5. Research Methods
    The research method describes the design of activities, scope or objects, materials and main tools, places, data collection techniques, operational definitions of research variables, and analysis techniques
  6. Result and Discussion
  7. Conclusion
  8. Acknowledgments (if any)
    The names of any sponsors of your research, including grant numbers, and/or people you would like to thank, may be included in an acknowledgments section that should appear immediately before your list of references when your paper is accepted for publication.
  9. References
    Epsilon Journal uses the author-date style of citation referred from American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines. Authors are recommended to use management references such as Mendeley, Zotero, endnote, e.t.c.
    Citations in the text appear as name, date within parentheses, and listed alphabetically at the end of the paper. When a cited work has three or more authors, all authors should be written out in the first text citation and et al. used thereafter (italicize et al., whenever used). When reference is made to more than one work by the same author(s) published in the same year, identify each citation in the text in the following manner: (Collins, 2005a, 2005b). Online citations should end with the date of access. Please be sure that cited works that are chapters in a book or articles in a magazine include page numbers. References should contain titles and subtitles. All references must have a corresponding citation in the text and vice versa.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
