Mengali Peran Strategis Jukung Museum Lambung Mangkurat dalam Diaspora bagi Generasi Muda

Abstract


Artifak jukung atau perahu kayu bukan hanya simbol ekonomi, perdagangan dan transportasi, simbol perjalanan roh manusia ke nirwana bagi suku Dayak tetapi juga terhubung dengan, Teori Migrasi Out of Taiwan, Teori Migrasi Out of Sundaland, dan Teori Sebaran Gerabah Lapita. Di sisi lain, museum, bukan hanya tempat berkumpulnya artifak kebudayaan suatu bangsa tetapi juga tempat berkumpulnya pustaka asal usul (geneologi) intelektualitas dan kearifan lokal. Koleksi jukung Museum Lambung Mangkurat adalah kisaran umur 3000 SM-300 M. Selama itu, jukung telah mengalami evolusi arsitektur menuju bentuk yang lebih efisien. PKM ini mengulas evolusi nilai kebudayaan dan arsitektur artefak jukung yang menjadi koleksi Museum Lambung Mangkurat. Ulasan ini menjadi penting karena terhubung dengan masyarakat Kalimantan bagian selatan ini, yang merupakan wilayah seribu sungai, dimana sungai sebagai media jalannya jukung ini. Ulasan evolusi ini menjadi sejarah petunjuk dan arah untuk masa lalu, masa kini dan masa depan pembangunan trasportasi di Kalimantan. Program kegiatan masyarakat (PKM) ini memberikan penyuluhan arti pentingnya jukung untuk pendidikan (pedagogik) bagi generasi muda. Metode hermeneutika yang dielaborasi dengan metode structural equation modelling (SEM) diperlukan untuk mengkoleksi 9 tanggapan generasi muda sebagai responden. Secara berurutan hasil PKM divisualisai dalam bentuk statistik sederhana, sebagai berikut; sangat mengerti (20,35%), mengerti (29,6%), kurang mengerti (25,9%) dan tidak mengerti (24,05%). Ringkasan PKM menunjukkan bahwa respoden generasi muda dapat mengerti atas pentingnya jukung sebagai bagian sejarah transportasi dan keberagamaan masyarakat Kalimantan.
