Bimbingan Dan Konsultasi Pekerjaan Pemasangan Kanopi Pada Yayasan Tahfidzul Qur’an Nurul Islam

Abstract

Tahfidzul Qur'an Nurul Islam Foundation in Tantaringin Village, Muara Harus District, Tabalong Regency has two main separate buildings, namely the dormitory and classroom area. During the rainy season, students face obstacles when moving between buildings due to the lack of connecting shelters, which disrupts the learning atmosphere. This community service program aimed to provide guidance, technical consultation, and assistance in installing a durable canopy structure connecting the dormitory and classrooms. The methodology involved direct technical consultation, community empowerment through local craftsman involvement, and student participation from the Road and Bridge Construction Engineering Technology study program. The total budget allocated from DIPA POLIBAN 2025 was Rp 4,000,000. The implementation utilized high-quality ironwood (kayu ulin) roof trusses to ensure high resistance against extreme weather conditions. The outcome of this program is a properly installed connecting canopy that enhances comfort and safety for students during daily educational activities.
