Abstract

Forest as a natural resource system has the potential to provide multifunctional benefits, in addition to providing Timber Forest Products (TFP), it can also provide benefits in the form of Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFP). NTFP is one of the forest products that can be managed by farmers in the areas surrounding the forest. The aim of this researchis to identify the types of plants planted through agroforestry patterns in the forest area of Wan Abdul Rachman Forest Park. The method used to determine the diversity of NTFP plant species using vegetation analysis with plots made measuring 20 m x 20 m is used for tree levels with a diameter of 10 cm and above. The results of the study found 12 types with 325 individuals divided into 8 families of non-timber forest products. The highest INP value is the type of coffee (Coffea robusta) from the Rubiaceae family with a value of 70,92%, while the lowest INP value is the cinnamon type with a value of 1.32%. A high INP indicates that the species has the largest number of individuals, the density and frequency of its discovery in the community is also high. The species diversity index calculated according to Shannon Wiener is at the value of H'= 1,982 with the categorization of plant species diversity for the research location at moderate conditions. The type that has the highest diversity value is coffee with a value of 0,373. Meanwhile, the lowest diversity value is jengkol with a value of 0.017.
