PENERIMAAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT TERHADAP TAMAN HUTAN HUJAN TROPIS INDONESIA (TH2TI) DI BANJARBARU

Abstract

Good urban planning not only has a positive impact on the development of the region but can improve the quality of urban ecology. The Indonesian tropical rainforest park (TH2TI) is a multipurpose area not only from ecology but provides other benefits such as educational facilities, identification of tree species, recreation, sports, and joint planting. This study aims to analyze the community's social acceptance of the TH2TI urban forest. Research using quantitative methods from the results of filling out questionnaires respondent retrieval techniques through non probability sampling in the form of accidental sampling using 70 respondents. The community has a moderate level of social acceptance of the Indonesian Tropical Rainforest Park (TH2TI). These results are obtained from the participation, attitude and value score of 66.89.

Penataan wilayah kota yang baik bukan hanya memberi dampak positif bagi perkembangan wilayah namun dapat meningkatkan kualitas ekologi perkotaan. Taman hutan hujan tropis Indonesia (TH2TI) merupakan kawasan yang multiguna bukan hanya dari ekologi namun memberikan manfaat lain seperti sarana edukatif, identifikasi jenis pepohonan, rekreasi, olahraga, dan penanaman bersama. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisa penerimaan sosial masyarakat terhadap hutan kota TH2TI. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dari hasil pengisian kuisioner. Teknik pengambilan responden melalui non probability sampling berupa accidental sampling dengan mengggunakan 70 responden. Masyarakat mempunyai tingkat penerimaan sosial sedang terhadap Taman Hutan Hujan Tropis Indonesia (TH2TI). Hasil tersebut diperoleh dari skor partisipasi, sikap dan nilai yaitu 66,89.
