Author Guidelines

GUIDELINE OF AUTHORS

  • Original manuscripts considering all aspects of applied statistics are welcome.
  • Manuscript should contain previously unpublished work not concurrently considered for publication elsewhere. All papers will be independently refereed.
  • Manuscript should be written in Indonesia or English Language.
  • Manuscript should consist of ;
  1. Title: The title should briefly and clearly describe content. Please write the name and affiliation of each author, and e-mail address of the corresponding author’s name under the title.
  2. Abstract: The abstract should be written in English (Cambria, 11 pt). Length of the abstract should be 250 words or less and contain up to about five keywords in English. The abstract should state briefly and clearly about background (if any), purpose and/or scope of the study, method used, summary of results/finding, and conclusions.
  3. Introduction: The introduction should contain research backgrounds problem statement, references, and expected outcome.
  4. Method: The method should succinctly describe what was actually done in accordance with the problem statement.
  5. Results and discussion: The results and discussion should contain figures, tables, and graphs that are accompanied by description about the interpretation, the generalization, and the implication of obtained results, and also its relevance to the other results in the references.

  • Manuscript should be typed in Microsoft Word 97-2003 Document (Cambria, 12 pt) with justify format of align text to both the left and right margins, using single-spaced, single-column typing on plain, white paper of A4 size (210 mm×297 mm), 30mm for each left and up, 25mm for bottom and right margins; 10-15 pages in length or 4000-6000 words.
  • The reference at the end of the text must be written by the following example. Quote only the items that you have read. It is recommended to use Manager Reference Applications such as EndNoteMendeleyZotero, etc. Use other articles published in the same journal as the model. All publications cited in the text must be included as a list of Bibliographies with the American Statistical Assosiation Style.
  • The editorial board reserves the right to reject or resend the manuscript to the author for revision based on the reviewer`s recommendations.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
