Abstract

Within a decade, small business sector haven't been good enough. In this case, it means the relatively slow growth and inadequate management skills This problem occurs on a small business in Banjarbaru. By looking at such small business development program, the application of PEL program by using RALED method needs to be done. The aims of this development are to determine the value of each dimension of the factors lever small business development and get a hexagonal map of the small business in Banjarbaru. RALED or Rapid Appraisal for Leverage Economic Development developed since 2005 to be the only method used in this development. There are six dimensions that are used to determine the most influential factors in the economic development community in Banjarbaru. The conclusion of this development shows that small business community in Banjarbaru is pretty well, except in the dimension of the management process. The weight aspect of PEL in Banjarbaru has a fairly good index value. Therefore, the overall dimensions should receive serious attention.
