Kontribusi Pendapatan Wanita pada Usaha Agribisnis Bunga Melati (Jasminum Sambac) terhadap Pendapatan Total Rumah Tangga di Desa Bineau Kecamatan Martapura

Abstract

Instead of housewife, women in Desa Bineau has a significant role in contributinghousehold income by developing the agribusiness of jasmine flower accessories. The flower is commonly used for the traditional ceremony, pilgrimage, and wedding accessories. The demand increases across time along with the people awareness in preserving local culture. Thus, this agribusiness has promisingfuture development. The study elaborates the income of the jasmine agribusiness and its contribution to total household income, and assess the factors affecting the total household income of jasmine agribusiness household. The result shows that the jasmine agribusiness contributes 45% of total household income. The F-test indicates that the number of dependents, respondent'sincome, household head's income, other household members' income, education of the respondent, and the respondent's age, jointly affectsthe total household income.
