Kombinasi metode SPT-drill dengan imagery: upaya dalam mengendalikan target panic pada olahraga panahan

Abstract


Olahraga panahan merupakan olahraga prestasi yang menuntut ketenangan, rileks secara mental maupun fisik. Faktor mental yang mempengaruhi performa antara lain, kenyamanan (confidence), konsentrasi (concentration), control emosional (emotion control), dan berfikiir positif (positive thinking). Semua pemanah pernah mengalami setidaknya salah satu dari beberapa gejala target panic. Target panic akan menjadi masalah besar seiring dengan lambannya kesadaran pemanah. Hendaknya pelatih yang memegang perkembangan atlet segera menangani atlet yang mengalami gejala target panic agar tidak terjebak lebih dalam yakni dengan mengatur ulang program latihan. Pengulangan yang sangat banyak menjadi hal penting dalam proses pemulihan target panic. Pengonsepan mental memanah kembali diperdalam melalui imagery, sehingga penulis mempunyai konsep mengkombinasikan metode SPT-Drill dengan imagery sebuah upaya dalam mengendalikan target panic pada olahraga panahan.
