Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology today has significantly influenced various aspects of life, including the world of education. This research aims to develop an interactive module based on Augmented Reality (AR) for elementary school students, focusing on the circulatory system, and to evaluate the module's feasibility in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) employing the ASSURE development model. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis used consists of two types, namely quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This research was conducted at SDN Cilenggang and SDN Warnasari, West Java, Indonesia. The subjects of this research are fifth-grade students from SDN Cilenggang and SDN Warnasari, with 30 students and two teachers. The research results indicate that the Augmented Reality-based Interactive module on circulatory system material for elementary school students, which has been developed, is very feasible and effective. The material validation and module validation achieved scores of 100% and 87%, respectively. Meanwhile, the teachers' response to the practicality of the printed AR module yielded an average score of 98%. Students' responses to the practicality of the printed AR module scored 93% in the small-group trial, while the large-group trial received a score of 94%. In the effectiveness test, the module scored 93. Based on the scores obtained, the Augmented Reality-based interactive module on the circulatory system material for elementary school students is highly feasible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness for use by fifth-grade students of SDN Cilenggang and SDN Warnasari.
