PEMANFAATAN TUMBUHAN OBAT OLEH MASYARAKAT KOTA KUTACANE, KAB. ACEH TENGGARA, ACEH
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat Kota Kutacane, Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara, Aceh, serta menganalisis pola penggunaan, bagian tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan, dan cara pengolahannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Juli 2025. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi langsung terhadap informan yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka yang bersumber dari jurnal ilmiah, buku etnobotani, dan berbagai dokumen pendukung yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 27 jenis tumbuhan obat dimanfaatkan sebagai obat tradisional. Anggota famili yang dominan adalah Zingiberaceae. Daun menjadi bagian yang paling sering digunakan (62,96 %), diikuti rimpang (18,52 %) dan buah (7,41 %). Metode penggunaan utama adalah diminum untuk penyakit dalam, sedangkan tempelan, olesan, dan digosok diterapkan pada gangguan eksternal. Teknik pengolahan masih sederhana, seperti perebusan, penumbukan, dan pemarutan. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun berada di wilayah perkotaan, masyarakat Kota Kutacane tetap mempertahankan ketergantungan pada tumbuhan obat sebagai alternatif pengobatan tradisional.
