Persepsi Kebijakan Keberlanjutan Sebagai Mediator Hubungan Antara Pengetahuan Lingkungan Dan Perilaku Pro-Lingkungan

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab terjadinya Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) adalah karena pengelolaan sampah yang belum optimal. Tanggung jawab pengelolaan sampah dimulai dari tingkat masyarakat hingga pemerintah. Pengetahuan lingkungan merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku pro-lingkungan dan faktor eksternal yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku pro-lingkungan adalah kebijakan keberlanjutan yang dirasakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pengetahuan lingkungan dan kebijakan keberlanjutan yang dirasakan dalam memprediksi perilaku pro-lingkungan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 127 terdiri dari dosen dan tenaga kependidikan. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan structural equation modeling (SEM). Merujuk pada hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tidak terbukti persepsi kebijakan keberlanjutan dapat bertindak sebagai mediator yang menengahi pengetahuan lingkungan dengan perilaku pro-lingkungan. Adapun hasil lain yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kebijakan keberlanjutan yang dirasakan terhadap perilaku pro-lingkungan, hal ini menyiratkan pentingnya kebijakan manajemen perguruan tinggi mengenai pelestarian lingkungan (green policy) sebagai faktor penting untuk menumbuhkan perilaku dan budaya peduli lingkungan di kampus.
