PERAN PERCEIVED RESTORATIVENESS TERHADAP ENVIRONMENTAL ATTITUDE PADA ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Jumlah ruang terbuka hijau yang terus mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya, dapat berdampak pada diri anak karena mereka akan memiliki lebih sedikit kesempatan untuk mendapatkan paparan lingkungan alami. Salah satu manfaat yang dapat diperoleh anak ketika menghabiskan waktunya di lingkungan yang alami, adalah anak dapat mengalami perceived restorativeness. Perceived restorativeness dapat membantu anak untuk lepas dari kelelahan psikologis yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas sehari-hari, serta mendorong sikap peduli anak terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perceived restorativeness terhadap environmental attitude pada anak sekolah dasar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 siswa kelas 5 dari SD Negeri dan Sekolah Alam di Jakarta yang diambil menggunakan quota sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Perceived restorativeness Components Scale For Children (PRCS-C II) dan Children’s Environmental Perceptions Scale (CEPS). Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat peran yang signifikan dari perceived restorativeness terhadap environmental attitude pada anak sekolah dasar, dengan kontribusi sebesar 7,5%.
