The Innovation Of Social Studies Journal (IISJ) has been selected and reviewed by a Team of Editors and Peer-Reviewers who are competent, with a focus to provide new perspectives on innovation of social studies in the research approach, learning media, learning resources, learning model and other related Social Studies. Only articles of the best quality in the form of the results of research or the discourse contextual which can be loaded on The Innovation Of Social Studies Journal.

Peer Review Process

The Innovation of Social Studies Journal (IISJ) implement the peer review process. All articles submitted to IISJ submissions will be closed (blind review) by the partners bestari. In general, each article will be reviewed by one or two reviewers. Feedback from this reviewer would be the basis for journal editors to determine if an article can be received (accepted), accepted when revised (accepted with major/minor revision), or discarded (rejected). An article was rejected for publication due to various considerations, such articles are not within the scope of the field of journalism, mass media and media studies; writing scientific side were insufficient to be classed in a scientific paper; The fundamental methodological errors; or because the author refuses to make improvement suggestions given by the reviewer without a logical basis. All articles submitted will be examined the plagiarism elements using software anti-plagiarism is using Turnitin application.

 

Publication Frequency

The Innovation of Social Studies Journal (ISSJ) publishes twice a year, in March and September. Every volume of ISSJ contains 20 articles which 10 articles for each edition. This journal contains articles from the results of research in the field of Social Science and Social Studies Education.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Authors  submitting  a  manuscript  do  so  on  the  understanding  that  if  accepted  for  publication, copyright of the article shall be assigned to Journal of The Innovation of Social Studies Journal (IISJ) of Social Studies Education Department, Lambung Mangkurat University

IISJ Editorial Board make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions or statements be published in the journal. In any way, the contents of the articles and advertisements published in IISJ are the sole and exclusive responsibility of their respective authors and advertisers.
