- Jurnal Ilmiah Berkala Sains dan Terapan Kimia (JSTK) was first published in 2007 and has been available online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform since 2017.
- JSTK was accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia with a SINTA 3 ranking for the period of 2017–2023 and is currently being prepared to regain its accredited status.
- Starting from Volume 20 Number 2 (2026), the journal abbreviation of Jurnal Ilmiah Berkala Sains dan Terapan Kimia has been updated from J. Ilm. Berk. Sains Terap. Kim. to J. Berk. Sains Terap. Kim. to provide a more concise and standardized journal abbreviation format.
