Pengaruh Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Berbasis TPACK Terhadap Critical Thinking Skill Siswa

Abstract


Educational challenges in the 21st century require students to have higher-order thinking skills and integrate various aspects of knowledge, including content, pedagogy, and technology. Combining the PBL model with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) framework can increase the effectiveness of the learning process by harmonizing the three main components. This study aims to examine the effect of the TPACK-based PBL model on students' critical thinking skills. The study used a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design, with a sample of 58 students selected through purposive sampling. The research subjects were divided into two groups, a control class and an experimental class. Analysis using the One-Way ANCOVA test indicates that the application of the TPACK-based PBL model has an effect on improving students' critical thinking skills. Overall, the results of this study show a positive trend in the improvement of critical thinking skills through the application of TPACK-based PBL. Thus, this learning model has the potential to be further developed to improve the quality of learning relevant to the demands of the 21st century.
