Journal of Bio-Creaducation or abbreviated as bioco was created in May 2024 as a journal for the publication of articles in the field of biology education.
Since 2025, the main name of the journal has changed to Journal of Biology Creative Education following the suggestion of the BRIN ISSN Manager in applying for the ISSN of this journal, and Journal of Bio-Creaducation is the abbreviation. This also affects the article template update that began in Volume 2, Issue 2, December 2025 with another change, namely Study Program becoming Department of Biology Education.
