Millennial Generation Preferences in Choosing Housing in Kota Palembang

Abstract


This study aims to determine the preferences of the millennial generation in choosing housing in Kota Palembang. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method. This study encompasses the entire millennial generation in Kota Palembang, with 100 respondents serving as the research sample. For sampling using random sampling. Based on the results of the path analysis, factors that significantly influence the preferences of the millennial generation in choosing housing, such as education, marital status, price, and accessibility, were obtained. Hypothesis testing of this research data uses path analysis with hypothesis testing criteria, namely if the P-value < 0.05. Obtained with a Sig value, namely 0.003 (education), 0.019 (marital status), 0.040 (price), and 0.021 (accessibility). So from the calculation, it shows that the hypothesis states that there is a correlation between factors such as education, marital status, price, and accessibility to the preferences of the millennial generation in choosing housing.
