Pembelajaran Blended Learning Berbasis Edmodo Dalam Peningkatan Kemampuan Literasi Sains

Abstract


Dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0, perkembangan pembelajaran beserta praktiknya harus disesuaikan. Adapun solusi yang dapat digunakan yaitu dengan blended learning atau pembelajaran terpadu. Dengan Blended Learning peserta didik dapat dengan fleksibel membagi waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas, selain itu pemahaman konten materi peserta didik menjadi lebih mudah. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi fluida statis. Jenis dari penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah peserta didik SMAN 1 Cerme, Gresik sejumlah 50 peserta didik dengan penentuan sampelnya dilakukan menggunakan teknik sampel nonprobabilitas dengan jenis purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa soal literasi sains dalam bentuk pretest-posttest dan angket respon peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, tes dan angket. Untuk teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data dihasilkan dalam penelitian adalah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan literasi peserta didik sebesar 0,49 dengan kategori efektif. Peserta didik memiliki respon positif terhadap pembelajaran Blended Learning berbasis Edmodo yang dapat dilihat dari nilai n-gain. Blanded Learning berbasis Edmodo dapat dipilih sebagai model pembelajaran alternatif, khususnya di era new normal.

 

When facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the development of learning and best practice must be adjusted. The solution that can be used is blended learning or integrated learning. Through Blended Learning, students can flexibly divide their time in completing assignments, in addition to making it easier for students to understand the content of the material. The purpose of this research is to analyze students' scientific literacy skills on static fluid material. This type of research is an experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study were students of SMAN 1 Cerme, Gresik with a total of 50 students with the determination of the sample using a non-probability sampling technique with the type of purposive sampling. In this study, the instrument used was in the form of scientific literacy questions in the form of pretest-posttest and student response questionnaires. Data collection techniques in this study used the method of observation, tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive technique. Based on the analysis of the data generated in the study, there is an increase in students' literacy ability by 0.49 with the effective category. Students have a positive response to Edmodo-based Blended Learning, which can be seen from the value of n-gain. Edmodo-based Blended Learning can be chosen as an alternative learning model, especially in the new normal era.
